Position Summary
The Avionics Manager is responsible for overall avionics department operations including personnel management, technical and strategic planning, project planning, estimates, and technical oversight of avionics activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily avionics operations and project execution
• Mentor and develop avionics technicians
• Ensure compliance with FAA and company standards
• Oversee troubleshooting, testing, repairs, and installations
• Develop customer proposals and project estimates
• Coordinate tooling, materials, and equipment
• Support strategic planning and departmental goals
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of avionics experience
• Installation and line troubleshooting experience
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Technical degree preferred
