To continue our standard of excellence, Piedmont is seeking a motivated, reliable professional to join our team as an Aircraft Maintenance Parts Receiver in our Maintenance Department. This position is responsible for accepting the delivery of parts, completing receiving forms and ensuring FAA documentation matches specific parts being received. The successful candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and have previous experience with shipping and receiving. This position reports to the Aircraft Maintenance Parts Supervisor.
Essential Duties:
Accept delivery of parts from couriers and complete receiving forms
Receive parts in inventory tracking program using purchase order documentation and determine internal distribution needs
Ensure FAA documentation matches specific parts being received
Identify, process, and correct any discrepancies found during the receiving process
Ensure all parts contain the correct identification tags
Differentiate between Shelf Life and HAZMAT parts and label accordingly
Ensure parts are stored in a manner that preserves their unit worthiness
Ensure pass down reports are completed at the end of each shift
Job Qualifications and Competencies:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent attention to detail
Previous experience with shipping and receiving
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience with inventory software
Previous airline experience
Previous experience with FAA parts
Work Environment:
Standard office equipment, use of telephones, computers, and other office equipment
Airport ramp and warehouse environment, subject to varied weather conditions and elevated noise levels
Available to work any shift including nights, weekends, and holidays
Physical Requirements:
Frequent stooping, bending, kneeling, walking, standing, reaching, lifting, climbing up and down stairs
Handle objects up to 70 pounds regularly, up to 100+ pounds occasionally with assistance from co-workers or tools

Employment is contingent upon a clear driving record, 10-year Criminal History Records Check, and drug screen as required. We also require proof of high school or GED completion. Minimum 18 years of age.

Starting Rate:
