PILOTS
PLEASE NOTE:
Successful candidates will:
- demonstrate strong technical capability and a commitment to continuous learning;
- prioritize safety and contribute to Air Spray’s culture of operational excellence;
- maintain a professional, team-oriented, and service-focused approach; and
- be willing to work in remote locations for extended periods during wildfire operations.
WHEN SHOULD I APPLY?
- Pilots are hired in the spring. Interested pilots should submit their resumes to our Chief Pilot beginning in January for each fire season.
INTERESTED PILOT APPLICANTS:
BEFORE SUBMITTING YOUR RESUME, PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid Airline Transport Pilot License with a current Group 1 instrument rating
- Total time - minimum 2000 hrs
- Pilot-in-command - minimum 1,000 hours
- Pilot-in-command IFR - minimum 500 hours
- Multi-engine pilot-in-command - minimum 500 hours
- Valid Seaplane rating - minimum 250 hrs pilot-in-command (where applicable)
- Demonstrated experience in mountain flying
