Job Description

The Operations Manager provides strategic leadership, operational oversight, people management, regulatory governance, and financial accountability for the BGI station under the management of Flight Support (Barbados) Ltd. This role ensures that all passenger services, cargo handling, ramp operations, and administrative functions are conducted safely, securely, efficiently, and in full compliance with regional & local Civil Aviation regulations, interCaribbean Airways (iCA) operational standards, Flight Support (Barbados) Ltd corporate policies and applicable national labour legislation.

The Operations Manager serves as the principal liaison between interCaribbean Airways (iCA), Flight Support (Barbados) Ltd (FSL Barbados Ltd), regulatory authorities, airport stakeholders, and contracted vendors. This position requires full operational availability and visibility to ensure continuity of safe and efficient service delivery.

  3. Demonstrated leadership experience within a dynamic airline environment.

  6. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications & Experience

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  2. Certificate in Supervisory Management (asset).
  3. Minimum of ten (10) years progressive experience in the airline industry, including senior operational leadership.
  4. Demonstrated experience managing aviation station operations.
  5. Fluency in written and spoken English.
