The Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service is a not-for-profit organisation providing world class aeromedical, search and rescue services to those in need 24/7. The Service has 50 years of proud history, and operates from three bases in NSW (Tamworth, Belmont, Lismore) in addition to a Head Office and Base Maintenance facility based in Broadmeadow NSW. About the position
We are currently seeking an experienced Licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (B1.3/B2) to join our highly skilled team in a touring capacity. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager and operating within a CASR approved Part 145 organisation, this role will be required to carry out maintenance, repair, overhaul, modification, assembly and/or testing on the aircraft fleet in a safe and efficient manner and to a high standard.
This position will work a 7:7 roster pattern and will tour regularly across all bases including Broadmeadow, Belmont, Tamworth and Lismore. Ideally, the successful candidate will reside within one hour from an operational base to support operational readiness and response requirements.
Note – The Service welcomes applications from candidates located in other regions, provided they reside within one hours of a commercial airport and are able to meet roster and operational travel requirements.
