Location: JPATS Hangar, Will Rogers Airport – Oklahoma City, OK
Schedule: Minimum 96 hours/month, mission-based, Monday–Friday with 24/7 on-call availability
Key Responsibilities
- Provide emergency and routine medical care following accepted medical industry standards.
- Administer medications and treatments based on written or verbal orders from medical direction.
- Review prisoner medical records and confirm medical fitness to fly.
- Maintain custody of all medical records, medications, and government-issued medical equipment.
- Respond to in-flight medical emergencies involving prisoners, aircrew, or ground personnel.
- Prepare and submit required reports, including USM 210 incident forms.
- Conduct equipment checks before each mission; restock supplies at mission completion.
- Be available within two hours of schedule changes; support overnight missions as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (must speak, read, and write English fluently).
- Valid state driver’s license with a clean 5-year driving record.
- Minimum 3 years of Paramedic experience.
- Current NREMT-Paramedic, CPR, AED, and ACLS certifications.
