Flying That Matters
With 800+ hours total flight time, you're ready to take the next step in your commercial aviation career.
As a Direct Entry First Officer, you'll join SkyCare's Flight Operations team and work alongside experienced Captains in a dynamic multi-mission environment. You'll gain hands-on experience in multi-engine IFR operations while supporting air ambulance and charter flights across Canada and internationally.

Your Role at SkyCare
As a Direct Entry First Officer, you'll support the safe and efficient operation of Navajo aircraft while working closely with Captains, Operations Control, Dispatch, Maintenance, and medical flight crews.

  • Diverse multi-engine IFR flying in both scheduled and unscheduled operations.
  • Air ambulance and charter missions across Canada, the United States, Mexico, and the Caribbean.

Location
Sioux Lookout (ON) and St. Andrews (MB). Pilot assignments are driven by operational needs and may rotate across our network.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Minimum 800 hours Total Flight Time (TT).
  • Valid Transport Canada Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL).
  • Valid Transport Canada Group 1 Multi-Engine Instrument Rating (IFR).
  • Valid Transport Canada Category 1 Medical Certificate.
  • Ability to meet applicable international travel requirements, including travel to the United States
  • Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check (completed within the last 30 days).
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and able to maintain valid work authorization throughout your employment.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a multi-crew environment while following Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure, assess changing conditions, and prioritize safety in day-to-day operations.
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a commitment to learning, recurrent training, and continuous professional development.
