We have a rare opening for an experienced Avionics Technician.  This role is responsible for testing, troubleshooting and component level repair and modification of general aviation Avionics, Instruments and Accessories. Specific daily responsibilities include:

  • 1.       Troubleshoot and repair electronic circuits to component level.
  • 2.       Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, schematics and technical orders
  • 3.       Analyze malfunctions using electronic test equipment, schematics and technical publications
  • 4.       Build test equipment utilizing approved design data and/or manufacturers drawings
  • 5.       Complete all required paperwork related to repairs performed
  • 6.       Maintain a clean and orderly work area on a daily basis

Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in electronic repair.  Other key qualifications include:

  • 1.      Familiarity with Avionics equipment and systems
  • 2.      Hands on experience in the use of electronic test equipment, hand and soldering tools and other measuring and recording devices.
  • 3.      Advanced knowledge of Analog and Digital Theory
  • 4.      Basic knowledge of computers and software
  • 5.     Strong analytical, interpersonal, verbal and writing communication skills to accurately document, report and assess situations and make judgments
  • 6.       Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • 7.       Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
