Job Summary\:
To work under the guidance of other avionics technicians to identify malfunctions, remove, repair, and install a limited variety of aircraft communication, navigation, and electrical components
Job Responsibilities\:
• Demonstrate the ability to understand avionics. This includes terminology, basic setup, operation, and practical application of electrical and avionics aircraft systems.
• With guidance and supervision, perform analysis of routine electrical malfunctions according to standard shop practices using some equipment such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and continuity lights.
• With assistance, perform minor repair such as replacing wires and connectors on standard electrical components.
• With assistance and supervision, remove and install electrical and electronic components as directed.
• Ability to read, understand and interpret blueprints.
• Responsible only for own work.
• Perform other related duties as required
Education:
Requires a high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification.
Experience:
No experience required. Electrical assembly experience preferred
