Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic

Keystone Aerial Surveys, a Vexcel company is looking for an FAA Licensed Airframe and Powerplant A&P Mechanic. We are a leading provider of high resolution aerial imagery and geospatial data, aerial camera systems, 3D data, and fully integrated photogrammetric software. Our data services are used in a variety of industry solutions worldwide such as local and federal government programs, financial services, insurance, telecommunications, environmental, energy and utilities, mining and many others that require the most accurate view of cities and lands in a consumable digital format.

This is a fully onsite position located at KPNE in Philadelphia. Remote work is not available.

Responsibilities

• Perform 50 hour inspections including oil changes and AD checks on exhaust systems
• Complete heavy 50 hour inspections and assist with annuals
• Replace cylinders and engine components
• Perform sheet metal repairs
• Troubleshoot and complete line maintenance as needed
• Install and remove aerial cameras and sensors following FAA and manufacturer procedures
• Move aircraft and operate ground support equipment
• Complete basic cleaning and upkeep of the hangar, tug and shop equipment
• Maintain clean and safe workspaces
• Keep accurate maintenance records
• Work independently as a self starter with minimal oversight
