We are currently recruiting for Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AME) to be based in one of four new operating bases in British Columbia (Vancouver, Kamloops, Prince Rupert, and Prince George).<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span>All AMEs will be responsible to Crew Chief for the completion of the maintenance and repair tasks assigned to them.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

In this role, you will:<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/p>
<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/p>
- Maintain, adjust, modify, test, diagnose, and repair AW169 aircraft.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
- Create and complete task cards and work packs in WinAir.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
- Work with specialized aviation and power tools, computers, and diagnostic equipment.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
- Conduct scheduled maintenance tasks.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
- Keep timely and accurate records of the repair and maintenance activities that were conducted.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
- Use the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment for tasks\/jobs.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
- Maintain a clean and productive work area.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
- Conduct aircraft cleaning duties of interior and exterior (excluding medical biohazards).<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
- Work efficiently alone and as part of a team.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
- Read, understand, and adhere to the Safety & Health Policy Statement, Company Occupational Health & Safety Manual, Company Policies and Procedures, and the MPM.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
- Utilize the Company reporting system to report any hazard, incident, or accident.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
- Enter labour in the labour tracking system accurately for all tasks performed.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
- Perform work in accordance with all Transport Canada guidelines.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
- Other duties as assigned.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

Profil<\/h3>The ideal candidate:<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/p>
<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/p>
- Must hold a valid Transport Canada M1 and\/or M2 AME license.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>
- Have experience working on a rotary\-wing asset, ideally on Leonardo Helicopters AW\-Family aircraft, in particular, the AW169.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>
- Have demonstrated experience working on WinAir or other similar maintenance programs.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>
- Have good organizational skills.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>
- Is proficient in English, written and spoken.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>
- Have the physical ability to sit or crouch for extended periods.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>
- Have the physical ability to walk and\/or stand for extended periods.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>
- Have physical dexterity to allow working in confined spaces.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>
- The ability and willingness to undertake shift work.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>
- Is comfortable working at height.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a>
<\/li>
- Be eligible for an <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a>Airport Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC)<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a>
<\/li>
- Have the right to work in Canada and\/or have or can obtain a Canadian passport.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
