Responsibilities
- Perform routine and non-routine inspections, repairs, and maintenance on aircraft systems and components.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and implement effective solutions to ensure optimal aircraft performance.
- Document all maintenance activities in compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Collaborate with other mechanics and engineers to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in aircraft maintenance technology.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior mechanics as needed.
Qualifications
Valid A&P (Airframe and Powerplant) certification is required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, with a focus on troubleshooting and repairs.
You must have your own tools.
Strong knowledge of FAA regulations and safety standards.
Proficient in using diagnostic tools and maintenance equipment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Flexibility to travel and support multiple work locations
Availability to work overtime, weekends, and alternate shifts when required
Work Environment
This position involves hands-on work in aircraft maintenance facilities and field environments, including:
- Exposure to outdoor weather conditions
- Exposure to loud noise levels
- Working around aircraft, machinery, fuels, and hazardous materials
- Frequent standing, walking, climbing, bending, lifting, and carrying up to 50 pounds
- Safety-sensitive responsibilities involving aircraft inspection, maintenance, and operational readiness
