Growing Part 135 Charter Operation in Georgetown, SC is seeking a full-time Airframes & Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic. We offer a very competitive salary and benefits package and are located near the beautiful town of Charleston, SC. Must live or be willing to relocate to within a 1.0-hour drive of the Georgetown County Airport in SC (KGGE).
Responsibilities include inspecting, maintaining, and repairing aircraft systems to ensure they meet safety and regulatory standards. They perform routine and scheduled maintenance, including 100-hour and annual inspections, as well as troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues. A&P mechanics must interpret technical manuals, service bulletins, and airworthiness directives to properly complete repairs and modifications. They are required to document all work performed in accordance with FAA regulations and maintain accurate maintenance records. Additionally, they ensure aircraft are returned to service in an airworthy condition while prioritizing safety, compliance, and operational reliability.
Priority handling will be given to all candidates who also possess a valid FAA Airman’s Certificate.
