Perform daily and periodic inspections, and repair and maintenance of engines and airframe on one type aircraft as required by FAA regulations and PHI directives. Repairs to include removing and replacing parts, accessories, components and engines as necessary. Perform troubleshooting to the extent of his ability. Draw replacement parts from supply requesting them by correct nomenclature and part number. Ensure that new or serviceable parts provided by supply are approved replacements for the units removed from aircraft. Ensure proper tagging and disposition of removed parts. Reinstall the new parts on aircraft and perform operational ground check if required. Perform clerical tasks involving annotating work orders and aircraft forms indicating there on the nature and scope of work accomplished. When assigned away from the repair station, logbook must be signed in accordance with FAA regulations. Also, responsible for all company assets at a remote station when assigned. Exercise control of and responsibility for spare parts and equipment. Keep personal copy of PHI Maintenance Handbook up to date and keep tools and work area neat and orderly. May provide direct supervision over unlicensed mechanics working on aircraft. Perform miscellaneous related duties as assigned which, collectively speaking, require no greater attributes.

Under the general guidance of MRO management, performing all related functions associated with the service and inspection of aircraft and aircraft components in accordance with current FAA regulations, manufacturer's specifications, current Repair Station Manual, and company policies. When assigned away from repair station, perform the activities listed above but in addition must sign and certify on aircraft logs and other pertinent forms to the extent of repairs accomplished by himself and others under his direction. Perform simple clerical duties in preparing job related documentation. Provide direct supervision to unlicensed mechanics working on aircraft. Work with management to meet goals and objectives in completing aircraft services at the repair station facility and in remote locations.
