Purpose of Position
The Large Cabin Training Ground Instructor, Lead provides classroom and hands-on training to both new and experienced Flight Attendants. Responsibilities include teaching vital skills such as safety and emergency procedures, service standards, and CRM. This position demands a deep understanding of safety regulations and is pivotal in ensuring that Flight Attendants are thoroughly prepared to deliver exceptional safety and customer service according to NetJets' standards.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Instructing New Hire Training Sessions:
- Lead instructional sessions for new flight attendants, covering safety procedures, service standards, and CRM.
- Provide hands-on training to ensure new hires are proficient in safety equipment usage and emergency protocols.
- Offer guidance and support to help new hires acclimate to their roles and the company culture.
- Delivering Ongoing Training for All Current Flight Attendants:
- Develop and deliver refresher training programs to ensure all current flight attendants remain up-to-date with safety regulations and service standards.
- Organize recurrent training sessions to reinforce key concepts and best practices.
- Offer specialized training modules based on feedback and industry updates.
- Collaborating on Course Development:
- Work with the training team to develop engaging and effective training materials, including presentations, manuals, and interactive exercises.
- Provide insights and suggestions for improving existing courses and developing new ones.
- Incorporate feedback from stakeholders to enhance the overall training curriculum.
- Collaborating with Existing LCIs:
- Coordinate with other Large Cabin Ground Instructors to share best practices and ensure consistency in training delivery.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss training strategies, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
- Support and mentor new LCIs to help them integrate into the team and excel in their roles.
