L1 Avionics Technician - Tom Wood Aviation

Tom Wood Aviation, in Indianapolis, IN is searching for a L1 Avionics Technician to become a reliable member of our team at the Indianapolis Metropolitan Airport. The ideal candidate has a keen attention to detail, high-quality workmanship, and ensures that all work complies with federal aviation regulations, company policies, and safety standards. 

Pay:  

• $23.-00-$29.00 hourly 

Responsibilities:  

•  Assist senior technicians with routine maintenance and repairs of avionics systems.  
• Perform basic troubleshooting and diagnostic tasks using standard tools and equipment. 
• Install wiring, connectors, and components following wiring diagrams and manuals. 
• Conduct inspections and tests to ensure systems meet performance standards. 
• Document work performed in maintenance logs and ensure accurate record keeping. 
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety protocols. 

Qualifications:   

• 0-2 years of experience in avionics maintenance or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of avionics systems and maintenance procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and a safety-first mindset.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• MUST HAVE-Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
