The Boeing CompanyBoeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a F-15E Electrical Environmental/Avionics Technician to be part of the on-site F-15E Field Modification Team supporting the USAF customer at RAF Lakenheath in the United Kingdom. The Boeing Team is a vital part of the support that we provide the USAF Customer. Boeing has a team of 15 employees performing modification and testing of the customer F-15 aircraft on site.
This is a Long-Term Assignment to the United Kingdom. Relocation/assignment benefits to the international location will be provided. Ability to meet international assignment health requirements required. If accompanied, family must also meet international assignment health requirements.
Working as member of the Boeing Team, the role is to undertake the modification of the F-15E fleet based at RAF Lakenheath in Suffolk, UK.
Our support strategy allows maximum flexibility so you may sometimes be deployed to undertake support activities in other locations if priorities dictate it.
You will perform modification work in accordance with documented drawings and technical orders. Other maintenance activities, troubleshooting and modified or disturbed system functional/operational tests. You will work within a team of peers to perform tasks associated with aircraft modification.
Candidates will be responsible to ensure established process adherence, accurate and timely work recording and contractual/regulatory compliance. Experience of working in an aircraft modification environment or MRO would be beneficial. You must have served a recognized and relevant aircraft training course or USAF aircraft trade training equivalent, and be proficient in the interpretation of engineering drawings, workbook instructions, and technical manuals.
