Description

Job Summary:

The Captain assumes responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of Dassault Falcon Jet (DFJ) aircraft on flights when assigned as Pilot in Command (PIC)

Principal Duties:

  • Act as PIC on world-wide executive and pilot demonstration flights when assigned
  • Act as PIC on world-wide customer support flights and Jump Seat Support flights when assigned
  • Act as PIC on Ferry Flights of green Falcons from Bordeaux to Little Rock when assigned
  • Assure that all items necessary for safe, efficient flight are accomplished by self or crew delegation
  • Responsible for safety/security of aircraft, crew and passengers on all flights for which they are designated PIC
  • Responsible for quality of all demonstration flights for which they are designated PIC
  • Responsible for passenger identification and adherence to all mandates of DFJ Security Protocol

Non-Principal Duties:

  • Attend professional meetings/conferences as directed
  • Perform collateral duties as assigned by Chief Pilot of Operations, Chief Pilot of Technical or Director of Flight Operations

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Airline Transport Pilot Certificate
  • Current First-Class FAA Medical Certificate
  • Type Ratings in one current production Easy Falcon
  • Five years (5) of experience in corporate aviation1000 Hours in Falcon legacy or current production Aircraft.
  • Five hundred (500) hours as a flight crew member in international flying
  • Successful completion of International Operations course
  • Thorough understanding of relevant Federal Aviation Regulations
  • Flight Instructor certificate with instrument and multiengine preferred

Additional Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Type Ratings in out-of-production Falcons
  • Military Flight Training 

Working Conditions:

  • Flexible workdays/hours to accommodate operational needs of the Flight Department
  • Travel required, occasionally for extended periods of time
