Job Description
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
Perform maintenance on aircraft utilizing applicable methods for complying with federal regulations, while ensuring aircraft is airworthy and safe for flight. Support passengers and/or department as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 Perform inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on aircraft while ensuring compliance    with Federal Aviation Regulations.  
 Ensure compliance with all Airworthiness Directives and Service bulletins.
 Procure, maintain, and organize company tooling and equipment.
 Ensure compliance with tool calibration mandates / requirements.
 Track all maintenance items for compliance and paperwork accuracy. Maintain maintenance records per FAA and Company requirements.
 Perform repairs and upkeep on ground support equipment and hangar facility as needed.
 Schedule external vendors for aircraft, ground support equipment, or hangar repairs as needed.
 Ensure Company expectations for exceptionally clean aircraft and hangar are always reached.
 Transport airplane to / from hangar and ensure aircraft has sufficient fuel prior to flight.
 Dispatch and receive aircraft at home base and monitor mechanical conditions while away.
 Perform pre-flight and post-flight aircraft inspections
 Assist passengers with luggage, boarding or deplaning.
 Update aircraft navigational databases.
 Coordinate and track all shipping, receiving and inventory of parts and supplies.
 Expected to fill the role (with limited approval authority) of Maintenance Manager in his/her absence.
 Perform any other related duties as required or assigned by department management.

QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
 FAA Airframe and Powerplant License
 FAA Inspection Authorization-recommended
 Associates degree or higher recommended
 5 years Practical Experience on complex Jet Powered aircraft
 Manufacturers training on aircraft operated -recommended
