Description

Davinci Jets Services is seeking to hire an experienced Aircraft Avionics Technician to perform unscheduled maintenance and repairs on corporate aircraft and return it to service in a timely manner. This position would be based in Charlotte, NC. An ideal candidate is capable of being self-sufficient and has a strong understanding of how to manage work scopes from inception to completion.   


 Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform avionics related maintenance tasks as assigned by Lead Technician or Supervisor.
  • Ensure that all maintenance performed is conducted in accordance with the Code of Federal Regulations and Davinci Jets Services policies.
  • Reference current manufacturer’s maintenance publications during maintenance events.
  • Properly document all maintenance tasks.
  • Utilize calibrated tools (MTE) during applicable maintenance events.
  • Ensure all articles, materials, and products are tagged properly.
  • Clean and organize all housing and facilities.
  • Perform pitot-static certification in accordance with 14 CFR § 91.411.
  • Perform transponder certification in accordance with 14 CFR § 91.413.
  • Troubleshoot avionics and electrical systems and components.
  • Responsible for avionics systems installs and upgrades.
  • Account for the time worked by billing time to applicable items in the work order as delegated by Lead Technician or Supervisor. 
Requirements

Education and Experience

  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certifications is preferred.
  • 2-4 years directly related aviation avionics and electrical experience (corporate aircraft experience preferred)
  • Corridor experience preferred.
  • Good working knowledge of 14 CFR Parts 91, 135, and 145.
