Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year

Shift Schedule: 5/2, 7/7 or 14/14 (7/7 or 14/14 is rotational)

Position Details:

HeliService USA is seeking highly skilled and motivated individuals to join our team supporting offshore windfarm construction, operations, maintenance, and medical evacuation. As part of our dynamic team, you will work and fly on a fleet of AW169 helicopters, ensuring their maintenance and operational readiness for challenging and essential missions. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to a one-of-a-kind operation in the renewable energy sector, including search and rescue (SAR) day and night operations, and medical evacuation services.


Duties & Responsibilities:

· Perform daily and periodic inspections, and repair and maintenance of engines and airframe on aircraft as required by FAA regulations and HSUSA directives.

· Be well versed in a variety of hoisting situations day and night, to include but not limited to high hoists, confined area, elevated platform, and vessel operations.

· Be responsible in the cabin for passengers and inform the pilots when cabin is ready, ensuring technicians, medical personnel, and any other passengers are seated within CG limits and that equipment is stowed and secured.

· During emergency medical flights assist the flight paramedic with patient care as an NREMT and/or render care as defined and designated by the employee’s medical certification.

· Maintain flight currency and training minimums as applicable.

· Ensure cleanliness of company equipment such as aircraft, vehicles, offices, and living quarters.


Job Requirements:

· Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License 

· Prior hoist and/or aircrew experience.

· Willingness to attain NREMT certification upon hire.

· Annual “fit for duty” physical required.

· Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the US. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

· Must be physically able to push/pull/lift, unload, and maneuver heavy equipment and/or luggage in excess of 70 pounds for extended periods of time; must have physical dexterity sufficient to perform repetitive tasks and motions, including bending at the waist and knees, climbing, balancing, squatting, kneeling, crawling, twisting and sustaining those positions for extended amounts of time in aircraft cargo holds and baggage bins. The employee must have sufficient hearing and vision and ability to safely perform the essential functions of the position.


Preferred:

· Aircraft maintenance: 3 years 

· Substantial Search and Rescue (SAR) or Helicopter Air Ambulance (HAA) operational experience.

· Three (3) years’ previous experience on a dedicated rotary-wing SAR aircraft serving as a Helicopter Hoist Operator (Winch Operator).

· Night SAR unaided and/or NVG Operational experience.

· Nationally Registered Emergency Medical Technician (NREMT) or higher certification.

· Prior SAR instructor cadre experience is preferred.

· Familiarity with Leonardo family of aircraft (AW169/AW139).

Training/Specific Activities Required:

  • Complete annual training as required by company policy and law on an annual basis in a timely manner.
  • Read all newsletters and bulletins to remain current on policies, procedures, and developments as well as to meet all company compliance standards. 
  • Employment at HeliService USA is contingent on successful completion of training and release to the line by the Director of Operations or Chief Pilot at the completion of the required line training period.
  • Pre-employment drug screening must be completed and approved in accordance with DOT/FAA regulations prior to hire.

Possible Work Hazards: Exposure to loud noises, aviation related chemicals, and frequently moving objects at a high velocity. 

Physical Demands: Sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, and pulling, keyboarding, speaking. Additional physical demands may be required.
