We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented General Aviation Airframe and PowerplantMechanic to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing aircraft to ensure safety, compliance, and airworthiness in accordance with FAA regulations and company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft, systems, and components
Diagnose mechanical or electrical issues and recommend appropriate repairs
Conduct inspections in accordance with company and FAA guidelines
Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections
Use technical manuals, drawings, and schematics to perform maintenance tasks
Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards and procedures
Collaborate with avionics, pilots, and other mechanics as necessary
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work environment
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (required)
FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certification (required)
3+ years of experience working as an aircraft mechanic (preferred)
Strong understanding of aircraft systems and components
Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in physically demanding environments
Ability to pass background check and drug screening
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of FAA Part 145 Repair Station regulations.
Experience with General Aircraft maintenance and repair.
