SOA/TRMS MH60 Civilian Flight Crewmember Instructor

MAG Aerospace is currently bidding on a contract to provide flight training support services for the U.S. Army Special Operations Aviation Command (USASAOC) We are seeking highly qualified MH-60 Civilian Flight Crewmember Instructor (CFCI)  to support USASOAC’s 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (160th SOAR) and the Special Operations Aviation Training Battalion (SOATB).

Duties include, but not limited to:

• Train NCOs, Soldiers, Government, Partner Nation and Contractor rotary wing crew members in the knowledge and skills specific to SOA. The Contractor shall provide flight and academic instruction for qualification as Basic Mission Qualified Non-Rated Crewmembers in Special Operations MH-60 helicopters.
• Provide training in the following: 1) day, night, and night vision goggle flight; 2) mission tasks such as fast rope infiltration, hoist, and gunnery; 3) environmental training (desert, mountain, overwater, and urban); 4) air to air refueling; and 4) deck landing operations. The Contractor shall provide SOA Basic Mission Qualification (BMQ) instruction (flight and classroom) and provide proficiency certification of all non-rated crewmembers (NRCMs).
• Prepare and present flight crewmember instruction to students on topics within the scope of the curriculum. The Contractor shall assist with aircrew training programs.
• Perform crew chief duties or operator level maintenance (to recover to airfield) on aircraft. The Contractor shall perform crew duties during training support flights, recovery flights, demonstration flights, and maintenance test flights when approved by the GFR.
• Assist with firing range duties per CAMREG 385-5.
• Assist with accurate completion of crewmember flight records to document all training.
• The Contractor shall drive military vehicles as required.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum of two years experience as a Utility Helicopter Crewmember (Army MOS 15T- Black Hawk
  Repairer) on MH 60 helicopter
• Served as a Non-rated Standardization Instructor (SI) or FMQ.
• Non-rated Flight Instructor (FI) in an Army Special Operation helicopter.
• 500 flight hours minimum in MH60 helicopters.

Salary at MAG Aerospace is determined by various factors including but not limited to location, the particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $80500 to $149500 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of MAG's total compensation package for employees.
