 Position Summary: 

The Captain has overall responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft and the safety of crew and passengers. He/she is responsible for ensuring the airworthiness and mission readiness of the aircraft, evaluating weather factors affecting the flight, and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and air traffic control procedures. 

Essential Job Functions include, but not limited to, the following:

* Ensuring the aircraft, weather, flight planning, departure airport facilities, en-route and destination facilities meet operational requirements prior to commencing a flight
* Ensuring required aircraft certificates and manuals are on board the aircraft prior to commencing a flight
* Ensuring the aircraft is properly inspected before each flight
* Supervising the flight crew and maintenance of company aircraft while on a flight
* Having knowledge of and adhering to company regulations including recent flight experience and the company's SOP's
* Ensuring the aircraft is operated within the manufacturer's requirements and the company's SOP's
* Attending regularly scheduled ground and simulator training, maintaining flight proficiency and knowledge of all flight operations, regulations, and aircraft systems
* Maintaining current required licenses and certificates to comply with company and FAA requirements. Maintaining a personal log to document minimum currency requirements
* Loading, securing, and unloading of baggage and providing for passenger needs as required
* Additional functions not specifically outlined in this position description as directed by the Chief Pilot

Requirements

Position Skills and Experience Requirements:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. * Commercial or Airline Transport Pilot Rating (English Proficient)
* FAA Second Class Medical
* Valid US Passport
* 4,000 total flight hours
* 1,500 hours PIC time in multi-engine aircraft
* 150 hours instrument (max 50 simulated)
* 250 hours night time
* 250 hours in make and model
* Type Rated in company aircraft and current within 12 months, strongly preferred. 
* Minimum of 1-year experience in a multi-crew environment
