The Manager of Aircraft Maintenance is responsible to the GMMRO for the effective management of maintenance operations, ensuring that aircraft meet the highest standards of safety, reliability, and compliance through the employment of stated principles within the Company’s quality and safety management systems.
This is a senior leadership role and involves overseeing maintenance activities, managing a team of maintenance professionals, and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or a related Relevant vocational training combined with significant experience may also be considered.
Experience: At least 10 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, including a minimum of 5 years in a supervisory or managerial. Experience with turbo prop aircraft is required.
Certification: Valid Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) license or equivalent. Additional certifications specific to turbo prop aircraft are beneficial.
