The LPS reports to Logistics and procurement manager. In detail the LPM is responsible for the below listed activities:
- Monitor of Marabu Requisition system for open requisitions for components and consumables and expendables.
- Take action to coordinate, search and order and manage the shipment of needed parts
- Monitor and coordinate the organization of the return shipment of the U/S parts after receiving and / or replacement of exchange order or pool parts
- Maintain continuous contact with components, parts, material and tool suppliers of Marabu
- Identify issues of suppliers’ performance, compliance, reliability and speed, take mitigating actions and report to the Logistics and Procurement Manager
- Monitor MARABU inventory with the MRO partners for minimum stock levels and take replenishment actions
- Coordinate third party MRO’s shipment and receiving activities including paperwork recording and sending
- Monitor Aircraft Components status in stores and under repair
- Manage a/c parts-, tools loan and procurement agreements with Vendors
- Control the shipment of ordered parts or tools to the required maintenance stations and core returns to vendors and shipment to repair
- Manage repair control creating service/repair orders to component repair vendors
- Surveillance of Loan and exchange transactions and take actions for contract compliance
- Daily report to Maintenance Control Manager part inventory and material orders and their progress with estimated delivery times
- Continuous communication between Vendors, MRO’s and MARABU MOC.
- Academic studies in logistics or experience in aircraft parts and material purchasing and logistics activity
- Very good IT knowledge and high-level skills, MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PPT is a must
- Experience with maintenance tracking software AMOS is an advantage
- Valid Fuel Tank Safety Phase 1, EWIS and Human Factor training is an advantage.
- Good English language (written and spoken) skills
