Kuwait Airways is activity recruiting for "Avionics Engineer " in the Engineering Department. In this role your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Basic Function and Scope:
Monitors systems and their
components and analyses recurring technical defects pertaining to avionics
trades and recommends rectification action.
a. Monitors technical defects pertaining
to avionics trades recorded by flight crew in the technical log on each flight. Follows-up rectification action taken by
Electrical & Instrument/Radio and Radar Engineers to ensure that rectification work is
carried out satisfactory. If necessary,
issues Repetitive defect Notices
and Engineering Advice requesting additional rectification.
b. Investigates
avionics systems and component alert exceedance reports compiled by the Technical Development Reliability Group. Suggests corrective
action to Reliability Control Committee.
c. Prepares
avionics component replacement procedure sheets and avionics system test
procedure sheets.
d. Evaluates
and processes aircraft/component manufacturers' Service Bulletins and Service
Letters and makes recommendations.Raises applications for local modifications.
Requirements
- Minimum
2 years’ experience.
- Bachelor’s
degree in Aeronautical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or industrial
engineering or Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Double
Licenses).
