POSITION INFORMATION

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Effectively manage a group of 150+ Flight Attendants in the delivery of quality service
  • Manage operational activities at LAX and co-terminals at ONT/SNA/BUR
  • Participate in flight attendant interviews and hiring processes
  • Provide ongoing mentoring/coaching to flight attendants in the following areas: attendance, appearance standards, manual compliance, delays, on-the-job injuries, customer complaints, employee-to-employee conflict
  • Completion of monthly/weekly administrative responsibilities
  • Support daily operation by completing daily concourse duty along with responding to irregular op situations in LAX & Co-terminals
  • Represent Inflight by speaking during various events such as recurrent lunch, New Hire Base Orientation, company training sessions, and other employee events
  • Act as a liaison to other departments or the FAA when specific flight attendant information is requested
  • Attend monthly FA Socials
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Embody the Alaska Spirit and conducts oneself with Professionalism, Integrity, Resourcefulness, and Caring

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum two (2) years college preferred. Two (2) years business and supervisor experience in lieu of college is acceptable
  • Inflight or previous leadership experience highly preferred
  • Flexibility to deliver work tools or participate in co-terminal (BUR, SNA, ONT) visits
  • Become FA certified by completing FA Initial Training
  • Must be flexible to fly once a month as an extra FA and complete a layover once a quarter
  • Must be flexible to travel for offsite meetings or training which may include overnights
  • Must display proficiency with Microsoft Office products: Excel, Word, and Powerpoint
  • Embody a high performance culture and owner mentality
  • Be able to fly as a minimum crew member during irregular Op's/weather and/to include major Holidays required
  • Must be able to be onsite for handling of any Inflight critical events at LAX airport or co-terminals after hours 24/7
  • Ability to obtain a LAX Custom Seal along with valid passport
  • Ability to accept shift work, may include weekend work, after hours on-call required
  • Ability to adjust shift as needed
  • Possess high level of managing competing priorities, constant change, re-prioritizing various responsibilities, while still providing an exceptional level of customer service and support for the Flight Attendants.
