Assignment Capsule

Be a part of the aviation world – an efficient, well-run program!

Humana is seeking a pilot who will provide safe and dependable
air transportation for corporate leaders.
•Processing the required knowledge, skill and proficiency to
assist the PIC
•Conduct pre-flight inspections and functional checks, being
knowledgeable in company's operating procedures
•Assist in loading and unloading of baggage, providing for
passenger needs and assisting in the proper execution of the flight
•Supervising fueling of the aircraft to ensure the quality and
quantity of the fuel meets FAA, AOM and aircraft operational
requirements for the flight. Ensuring aircraft fuel caps, doors
and valves are secured properly after fueling
•Assuming the duties of PIC if that person becomes incapacitated
and is unable to perform those duties
•Ensuring the condition and appearance of the aircraft interior
and verifying and restocking the commissary and supplies on board
the aircraft in the absence of cabin crew
•Reporting of any unsafe condition or personnel action to the
designated Safety Officer or designee

Role Essentials •Bachelor’s Degree
•Superior Communication and relationship building/ people skills  
•FAA ATP  Pilot Certificate
•Current and valid US Passport
•Current First class FAA medical certificate
•Valid Aeronautical Radio Telephone Operator Permit
•Minimum 4500 flying hours total time
•Minimum 1000 flying hours Pilot In Command (PIC) Turbine  
•Minimum 1500 flying hours Turbine time

Role Desirables
•Preferred experience in jet aircraft with FMS and EFIS
•Bachelor degree in related field preferred but not required

Reporting Relationships

You will report to Chief Pilot (PIC while on flight duty).
