Job Description:
We are experiencing an increase in activity and are seeking to
strengthen the team with following personnel:
LINE TRAINING CAPTAINS (LTC)
The concept with Line Training Captain`s (LTC)will replace
standardization Captains. Standardization Captains will be offered
positions as a Line Training Captain. The Line Training Captain is
meant to be a Mentor on the base. He will conduct flights as
Captain Under Supervision (CUS), Line Training, Standardization
Flights and Line Checks. See NTP 7-09.01.2008 Line Training
Captain.
The Line Training Captain is responsible to the Chief Pilot base for:
a) Perform Standardisation Flight line release flights on his type(s)
in order to check the proficiency of the pilots.
b) Suggest changes to operational procedures, including relevant
checklists, in accordance with limitations in the Flight Manual, the
CAA-N requirements and regulations, the Company’s own
requirements and local operational environments.
c) Suggest development of, or changes to, relevant training
programs based on standardisation flights/line checks.
The Line Training Captain is responsible to the Crew Training
Manager when performing duties according to OMD:
a) Line Training, Captain under Supervision (CUS), and Line
Check.
The Standardisation Captain shall:
a) Report to Chief Pilot Base any lack of proficiency of pilots on his
type(s).
b) Work closely with the Chief Pilot SAR/SO on matters related to
SAR/Special operations specifically to his type(s) of helicopter.
c) Perform flight duty on his type(s) as necessary to stay current
and have a good working knowledge of all aspects of local
operations.
