Job Description : The Vice President of Flight Operations (VPFO) is responsible for managing the flight operations which includes operational safety, network and crew logistics, pilot management, pilot flight training ad needed, standards, and technical or mechanical services. The VPFO will carry the responsibility of operational control and all safety aspects. The VPFO is accountable for the execution of the Company's mission of providing the safest, most reliable, and convenient air transportation for our employees.
This position is located at our Paramount Citrus company Delano, CA.
•Must have an airline transport pilot certificate •Have at least 3 years supervisory or managerial experience within the last 6 years in a position that exercised operational control over a corporate flight operation. •A minimum of six (6) years of senior flight managerial experience within the most recent 3 years •A minimum of six (6) years flight deck experience •Must possess demonstrate skills in people management, leadership and administration •Must possess strong communications skills, both written and oral •Must possess strong analytical and problem solving skills •Must have ability to evaluate and troubleshoot problems and make decisions •Attention to detail, a strategic thinker with a strong diagnostic mind •Ability to direct and organize multiple departments within a business unit •Ability to perform high-level decision making
Job Requirements : •Overall responsibility for corporate flight operations •Drive the execution of the corporate flight operations and establish any policy or procedures to insure safe, reliable, and efficient operations for the crew and the planes which includes 2 King Airs and one Baron. •Policy and management liaison with all external agencies. •Oversee the development, revision and distribution of Flight Operations manuals as necessary •Develop the budget for Flight Operations and maintain costs within the budgetary requirements. •Coordination between fight operations and all other departments to provide efficient, safe, smooth operations. •Accountable for the recruitment and training of all crewmembers. •Accountable for the quality and compliance of all Operations Department training programs •Responsible for the safe operation of the aircrafts and for driving Roll’s safety culture with the crew members and employees. •Maintain accident/incident records including the reports of investigations and any follow up action taken resulting from such investigations. •Responsible for the administration of operating standards and procedures for operating crew. •Reviews all operational contracts and coordinates with the President for signing •Liaison with original equipment manufacturers and other operationally relevant external entities
