Opportunity Profile:
The ideal candidate for the Flight Attendant position will thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced organization. He/she will excel in working independently and as a part of an integrated flight team. The person in this role will be responsible for ensuring the safety and comfort of the passengers and crew traveling on the aircraft. Responsibilities Include: • Ensure the safety of the aircraft cabin and its passengers. Comply with Federal Aviation Regulations. • Change from a passenger service role to a critical safety role at a moments notice. • Receive trip requirements from scheduling and coordinate duties and trip requirements with the Chief Pilot and aircraft Captain. • Remain proficient in the location and operation of aircraft safety equipment and provide emergency assistance for crew and passengers when necessary. Maintain proficiency and be prepared to provide for customer’s first aid, to include CPR and AED use, as required. Communicate status information to flight crew to be passed on to medical services unit. Conduct activities in a way that displays a calm, confident ability to assist. • Ensure that the cabin configuration and the associated safety function for all phases of flight is performed in accordance with all departmental policies, procedures, and Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs). • Brief, monitor, and assertively direct customers as required ensuring compliance with procedures to maximize customer safety. • Provide excellent and consistent customer service. • Demonstrate a working knowledge and high level of proficiency in the procurement, preparation, and presentation of food and beverage services. • Obtain, prepare and present various food services, stocking gallery and cabin appropriately. Provide personalized in-flight services for passengers. Ensure all safety equipment is aboard aircraft and is secure and serviceable. Monitor all cabin activities, aircraft systems, passenger environment, and communicate with the flight deck crew. Ensure perishable food items are properly transported, stored and disposed. • Perform other duties as assigned.


Reporting Structure:



Qualifications:
• Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent required. • Minimum of one year of flight attendant experience is required. However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration. • International travel experience in a business aviation or airline environment preferred. • Formal flight attendant training certificate preferred. • Must possess a working knowledge of CPR, first aid and use of AED. • Must possess knowledge of in-flight services and food preparation techniques. • Must possess achievement in training by a recognized provider of Business Aviation Flight Attendant Training (Flight Safety, International FACTS, etc.) • Must possess the ability to prepare and serve meals, and assist in evacuation of aircraft occupants in emergency situations. • Excellent communication and customer skills. • Proven ability to team with coworkers.
