Job Description: Assumes command of Company aircraft and conducts flight operations as scheduled to ensure a maximum level of safety, convenience to passengers, and cost-effective operations. When acting as Pilot-In-Command (PIC) is directly responsible for, and is the final authority as to the safe operation of the aircraft. The incumbent must have a thorough and continuing working knowledge of all aircraft systems for each type of airplane flown. This includes, but is not limited to, electrical, hydraulic, powerplant, pneumatics, environmental, fuel, and emergency. The incumbent must have a broad background in meteorology and the analytical ability to make the proper decisions during rapidly changing weather conditions or in emergency situations. The PIC supervises, directs and provides on-the job training for other crewmembers during the time designated with regard to preparation and execution of the mission. The incumbent is required to undergo extensive recurrent training at least once a year on each type of airplane flown as PIC.
Job Requirements: Legally authorized to work in the United States on a regular full- time basis without restrictions.
College/University experience or recognized equivalent desirable.
Certificates and Ratings 1. Airline Transport Pilot Certificate and 2. Type ratings appropriate to the type of aircraft to be flown CE- 500 and CE-680 3. FAA First or Second Class Medical Certificate as appropriate and 4. FCC Radio/Telephone Operator's Permit (or equivalent); and 5. Valid FAA Pilot Proficiency check or the equivalent in each type of assigned aircraft or the capability of obtaining the valid check ride. 6. Valid U.S. Passport
FLIGHT EXPERIENCE
Minimum total flight time required is 3,500 hours; of which:
1. At least 2,000 hours were as Pilot-In Command of multi-engine jet aircraft; and 2. At least 500 hours were as Pilot-In Command within the past 3 years in multi-engine jet aircraft.
