Position Purpose:
Sell maintenance to corporate aviation operators and other sales
prospects which meet or exceed corporate sales objectives and
strategies. Assist management with development of department
personnel. Develop sales forecasts, analysis on lost business, and
new business opportunities analysis and quotas for all services.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Essential Functions:
1) Achieve area sales goals for Gulfstream and non-Gulfstream
models through effective, well-organized sales campaigns with
corporate aviation operators. Monitor actual sales and market
share results in assigned territory versus forecast. Gather
information on sales prospects in assigned area and use
information to develop a prospect list.

2) Develop comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to gain
market share (regional sales calls, workshops, telephone
campaigns, seminars/conventions, and direct mailing marketing
campaigns). Present detailed proposals and perform various
customer relation functions to assist present and future customers.

3) Maintain ongoing communications with customers and serve as
account manager for customers total aircraft service requirements.
Handle all correspondence and telephone inquiries pertaining to
assigned territory. Prepare and submit to management weekly
contact and other required reports.

4) Lead weekly sales meetings to coordinate sales activities with
sales team. Assist management team by providing analysis on lost
business, new business opportunities, and follow-up on assigned
quotations.

5) Assist department management with the resolution of customer
issues that arise between sales department personnel and
customer representatives. Act on behalf of department
management in their absence.

6) Create annual goals and implements strategies to enhance
quality, accuracy and efficiency for assigned area.

7) Keep current and knowledgeable of the market place the
economy and the competition. Collect competitive information on
sales and marketing strategies and counter these strategies.
Perform various administrative, market research, and other
projects as they arise.

8) Lead a wide variety of special projects to include business and
process improvement initiatives.

9) Meet the administrative requirements of the position with timely
and accurate reporting.

Additional Functions:
1) Travel extensively in order to achieve projected sales forecast
and quotas. Attend major air shows, trade conventions and other
meetings as appropriate to represent Gulfstream.

2) Train new personnel on company policies and department
procedures.

3) Work with customers to resolve issues and complaints.

4) Develop and give work scope presentations to customers.

5) Perform other duties as assigned.

Other Requirements:
1) Must be computer literate

2) Must have demonstrated leadership abilities and business
judgment in the handling of complex business issues and difficult
customer situations.

3) Airframe and Powerplant or pilots license preferred.

4) Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
are required.

Unique Skills Required:
Requires an in depth knowledge of International business aircraft
market and it's clients. An in depth knowledge of the Gulfstream
corporate aircraft market is preferred. Bilingual or multi-lingual
individuals preferred.

Experience/Education Required:
- Bachelors degree in related field or equivalent combination of
education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the
essential functions of the job.Three (3) years of corporate aviation
maintenance experience.
- Six (6) years of sales and marketing experience.
