The Role Responsible for the coordination of published flight and cabin crew rosters ensuring correct crew complement and compliance with regulatory, industrial and company requirements. Coordinate logistical requirements of crew rosters such as crew accommodation, ground transport and deadhead transportation.
The Department The Network Operations department is responsible for the planning and delivery of flying operations of the airline. The primary areas of responsibility are Aircrew Planning and Control, Navigation Services and Aircraft Movement Control. The Operations Control Centre is managed by Network Operations and is the coordination hub for all stake-holders in the daily operation of aircraft.
Notify aircrew of relevant delays/disruptions. Communication of duty changes to crew. Liaison with other OCC units regarding operational matters. Liaison with Flight Operations and Cabin Crew management. Provide OCC Team Leaders with regular situational updates and immediate notification of relevant aircrew issues. Primary contact for all aircrew roster related matters
2. Disruption Management
Proactive in assessment and implementation of disruption management plans. Assess aircrew and aircraft allocations to ensure operational integrity and compliance. Advise aircrew of procedures to be adopted during poor weather, aircraft breakdown and disruptions (diversions/combined flights/delayed departures). Liaison with Aircraft Movement Controller to ensure minimal delay or disruption to aircrew activity. Swift & Accurate Decision making in relation to changing crew crews rosters to ensure OTP and legalities are maintained
Maintain compliance with applicable Civil Aviation Orders and Regulations. Maintain compliance with Flight Operations and Cabin Crew policy and procedure. Produce and verify aircrew recency and legality reports. Maintain compliance with Network Operations and other company policy and procedures.
4. Coordination of Aircrew Rosters
Coordination of aircrew duties to flight schedule and all other crew duty requirements. Optimise resource allocation. Ensure the correct crew complement for the intended operation. Coordination of aircrew ground transport, accommodation and pax bookings.
5. Maintain Operational System Data Integrity
Update Sabre Aircrews with all known operational information.
6. Perform Adhoc Leave Relief for Aircraft Movement Control (This KRA is only relevant to the ARC assigned the additional duties related to AMC Leave Relief within their individual Performance Agreement.)
