Requisition #: 141770 Montreal, JOB TITLE: CSA, Passenger Services International Canada
POSITION PURPOSE: Provides passenger assistance at the ticket counter and gate areas by issuing tickets, checking baggage and assigning seats. Will load and unload baggage and cargo; marshal aircraft to and from gates and service aircrafts.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Assist passengers with check-in procedures, including tagging baggage and issuing boarding passes - Sell tickets, process ticket changes, create and book reservations - Ensure compliance with FAA, Company and airport regulations - Enforce safety/security measures and protect sensitive zones - Facilitate the passenger boarding process - As directed, implement standard procedures during overbooked, irregular flights and denied boarding situations; solicit volunteers to free up seats; re-accommodate passengers by booking alternative flights; and provide travel vouchers - Log in tickets and prepare sales reports - Complete daily/weekly/monthly station administration duties - Move baggage and cargo of various weights to and from aircraft. - Drive and operate belt loaders. - Service aircraft at gates with ground power and air conditioning. - Tow and push back aircraft from gates. - Service aircraft lavatories and water ports. - Clean interior of aircraft when needed. - Position beverage and luggage carts around the ramp area. - Performs other related duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS: - Graduation from secondary school or equivalent - At least 2 years of customer service experience or the equivalent training/experience - Basic computer skills with the ability to easily grasp the functionality and concepts of company-specific software - Must enjoy working with the public - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Must be self-motivated and detail oriented, with a positive/cooperative attitude and be able to function effectively as a team member - Ability to perform in a fast paced environment while maintaining a professional and effective approach to high-stress situations - Willingness to perform repetitive tasks and carry 70 pounds. - At least 18 years of age - Possess necessary work documents to work in country where position is located and necessary visa/documents to travel to USA - Fluent in both spoken and written English and the language of the work location
